Universal Motors Ltd is the sole authorized distributor of Volkswagen cars in Ghana since 2005 and has been behind the huge popularity that the German brand has gained in the country. The company has a showroom and workshop which is fully compliant with Volkswagen’s International standards. 

The automobile industry in Ghana is growing at a high rate. The new car market grew by 51.3% in 2010 and by 51.7% in 2011. Universal Motors has therefore recognized that the timing is right for moving our business another step towards perfection. Since 2009, Universal Motors has launched several Volkswagen models in Ghana which have won significant market share. These include the Tiguan, Golf 6, Passat CC, Multivann Touareg and the Amarok which is the first pick-up by Volkswagen in the one ton segment.

Universal Motors offers over 20 different Volkswagen models for sale. This is supported with world class After Sales Service. Universal Motors Volkswagen Service Centre allows customers to register their vehicles in the Global Volkswagen Database and receives latest technical and electronic control modules software update.
